AUTHOR'S GUIDELINES


All manuscripts (content of the manuscript must be in English and in MS Word format) and should be submitted to [email protected]. The e-mail addresses of all authors must be provided.

Cover Letter

It is a mandatory requirement that the corresponding author should sign the cover letter in original and a clear scanned copy to be submitted along with the manuscript.   Only prescribed format of JPCBS cover letter will be accepted.

Manuscript preparation
The manuscript should be typed in English on A4 size paper. Times New Roman front 12pt should be used with 1.5 lines-spaced throughout. All pages must be numbered sequentially.

Title page
Title page should contain a clear, concise and informative title of the article followed by the names and affiliations of the authors. The corresponding author must provide full corresponding address (including e-mail address) at the lower left of the page.

Abstract
The abstract should not be more than 200 words. Reviews and mini reviews also require an abstract. Abstract must be followed by 4-6 keywords.

References
Published work should be the part of references. References should be numbered consecutively in the order in which they are cited in the text.  Arabic numerals (in squared brackets, eg. [1], [1, 2, 7] or [1-5]) should be used in citing references in the text. Unpublished work should not be included in the list of references.

Tables & Figures
All Figures, Tables and Schemes should be embedded into the main text near to their first citation and must be numbered. Numbering appearance should be as follows:
Figures: Fig.1: , Fig 2:
Tables: Table 1: Table 2:
Scheme 1:, Scheme 2:

A short explanatory title/caption should be there with all Figures, Schemes and Tables.
All columns of the tables should have an explanatory heading.Front size of contents of the table should not be less than 08 pt. in size. Authors should use the Table option of Microsoft Word to create tables.

Tables
These should be numbered with Arabic numerals (1,2,3 etc). The title should be typed at the top of the table in the sentence case bold face letters format. Any footnote should be typed at the bottom of the table in italic.

Figures
All figures including photographs should be numbered consecutively in Arabic numerals (1,2.3 etc) in the order of their appearance in the text and bear a brief title in sentence case bold face letters below the figure. Avoid using same data in the Result and in a figure. To ensure the highest print quality, figures must be submitted in TIF or JPEG format.

Review articles
Review articles should not be more than 25 pages and contain comprehensive coverage of relevant literature. All format requirements are similar to those applicable to Research papers. Review articles need not to be divided into sections such as Materials and methods, and Results and discussion, but should have an abstract and introduction. Review article should be supported by sufficient references.

Abbreviations
Standard abbreviations should be used throughout the manuscript. All nonstandard abbreviations should be kept to a minimum and must be defined in the text following their first use.

Conflict of interest statement
It must be declared by authors.

Copyright
Submission of the manuscript represents that the manuscript has not been published previously and is not considered for publication elsewhere. Authors would be required to sign a Copyright Transfer Agreement Form once the manuscript is accepted.

Proof Correction
Authors will receive Galley proofs of their accepted paper before publications. To avoid delays in publication, proofs should be checked for typographical errors and returned within 72 hours. Major changes are not acceptable at the proof stage.

Reviewer
Authors need to suggest names, affiliations and addresses (including e-mail) of two expert reviewers.
